Recently while laying in bed and switching channels on my satellite tv, I found the movie Dahmer to watch. This is the true story of Jefferey Dahmer. He was a famous serial killer. This movie was very interesting.

Luckily, I already knew the basics of his story. This movie didn’t tell you everything about him. If you didn’t know who Dahmer was it could have been a little confusing. I was surprised at how much the actor they hired looked like him. He was played by Jeremy Renner and he did an amazing job. The movie skipped back and forth between the past and present. You see how Jefferey hid the head of one of his first victims in a box and saved it. It was a bit creepy to me.

On the present part, you see Jeffrey Dahmer meet a young man at a store. He talks the guy back to his apartment. They have some drinks and seem to be getting along very well. They are dancing and you can tell that some romantic chemistry is going on between the two of them. He scares the guy by attacking him and luckily this one gets away. I am sure he was surprised later on to find out who he escaped from that night.

At the end of the movie, you do not see the trial or anything. It does tell you that he ended up in jail and was later killed while in prison. You could tell this was a lower budget movie, but they still did a great job telling the story. He is a very interesting character with a warped mind. If you ever catch this movie on TV, it is worth watching to learn more about this man.
